Hi, Sandy here! This song came about because Lilah was singing Christmas carols day and night and the words were all stuck in our heads and we couldn't figure out WHY! I thought this might have something to do with the idea of "Christmas in July" since it IS July... Anyway, Lilah had the words wrong and was singing "Deck the halls with bows of Jolly..." and I was trying to explain that it is "Holly" and what holly is and it's like a girl's name... and "deck" can mean "decorate" or actually it can also mean "hit or punch"... and since we are going slightly crazy from singing these songs over and over, you can see how this weird song came about!
